Grade 11 final results are the marks South African universities use when they make provisional offers, because Grade 12 results do not exist yet when applications close. For most learners that makes the November Grade 11 examinations the most consequential set of papers they have written so far.
The content steps up sharply from Grade 10 as well, particularly in Accounting, Physical Sciences and Mathematics, and much of the Grade 12 syllabus quietly assumes this year is solid.
Papers below are filed by subject, year and exam period, with the memorandum alongside the question paper. Work through them, mark yourself honestly, then run the result through the APS calculator to see what those marks would actually translate into. If a university on your list uses the National Benchmark Tests, that is worth reading up on in Grade 11 too.
Open a subject group, then work down through subject, year and exam period. Question papers and memos sit together in the same folder, so you can mark your own work as soon as you finish.
Do the work this year and matric feels like revision, not a first attempt. All the best, YOU'VE GOT THIS.
